Default winter weeds??

advice please anyone.

Slight problem as the winter has set in my daughters trek out every other morning wellys brollies big winter coats to retreive weeds for there 2 redfoots.My problem is the weeds arn't around like they are at other times of the year and there getting fed mainly on dandilon weeds the odd treat of mushrooms(once every 2 weeks)little bit of fruit again just as a treat.

This ok or should we be doing something else?

many thanks to all the folks on here that give the advice ......the heat mats gone the glass tanks gone the pellets have gone the daft substrates been replaced with sand and soil...the tanks sprayed twice aday and the torts I think are very happy....just would love vary there food abit!!

You can buy packs of weed seeds (there's some fast growing winter ones) on ebay. I've also believe that Floretti salad, mixed in with the weeds, is okay for them while weeds are short. Hope this helps

Hello, my red foots love chick weed, i get get carrier bags and carrier bags full of the stuff its everywhere this time of year. I do mix it with other weeds, cos lettuce, round lettuce and some fruit.
