If you are going to have large vents made, open the doors or remove them,go to all this trouble of making or buying items to try to control the heat and humidity etc why bother having a viv as a viv is obviously not made for what you want as you need to alter it so much, why not be safe and get a table I dont see the logic.
When I had my first tortoise it was 30 years ago and she lived in my garden except in really cold weather. Also my neighbours at the time had one too that lived in their garden and she is still alive today.Mine was sold when I left home as I couldnt take her so I unfortunately don't know if she is still alive or not,I like to think so.They are quite hardy when it comes to heat and cold but where dampness and humidity is concerned that is very dangerous to their health so in my opinion a table is so much safer and healthier.
