Default my idea

i have a roof garden which is a rel sun trap in the summer.

as its concrete my boyfriend suggested getting a grow bag put some turf on it so it grows into the bag.

buy an rabbit run or simalar, with a hide and some substrate put it outside, and then the torts can go out in the summer

obviuly the grass wud be inside the rabbit run.

what do u all think

how long should they be outside for

It would need to be a permanent setup as torts do not like change.

What i would do in your situation, is...

Get some railway sleepers, and lay out a rectanngle or square shape, mabey, 3' high. Then put a pond liner or something underneath and fill with top soil on top. Grass seed or turf on the, not all of it though, mabey half,a nd other other half, slate bits and stones and a nice place to dig and make tunnels! That would be better. Also, a mesh roof. How old and big is the tort in question?

well its a hermann nots sure of sex yet. 15months old,bout 4inch in length thanks

A four inch tortoise would be more like four years old TBH. Where did you have it from?
