hi your leopard is definately displaying female characteristics at the moment and at 4inches is about the right lengh for a leopard of yours age that has been grown so well she is an excellent shape and a credit to whoever bred her or owned her previously.i have found that the pardalis babcocki that you have is the most likely sub species you will encounter in the uk and all the larger examples i have seen have been females.i have some captive bred adults that i have had from hatchlings and the largest is a 12 year old female at 14 1/2 inches i also have some wc adults i have had for a number of years and the females are larger than the male.

Did he breed her himself? If he is who I think he is, he buys them in. May not be him though.

Not having a go but you would do far better for it to give it a sand/soil mix. A breeder should have told you this really.
Did you get your hermanni from the same place?

I think you will find these are imports, hence the good growth
Never buy from shops unless they can give you details to check the origin. Was your hermanni from the same shop?

As I have understood this (i could be wrong about this) I am only going on what has been posted here, but I thought that this tort came from a guy who buys his torts from Holland (his words) If this tort has not come from him, and come from another source, then I am mistaken...T.T.

PS. Why did the Penguine cross the road?!...
