no didnt get this off of cooltom, i got in barnstaple, justwizzamum said they are prob imports but what does this mean can u help

What that means is there is a very strong likely hood the animal will be carrying internal parasites ( worms and possible protazoa) so a trip to the vet with a poo sample will tell if the animal needs treating for this problem.

going to vet tues now to be wormed etc. was form a breeder he got them from bristol, does it bother the tort, will she be different eg in tameness, and growth etc any advice wwudhelpp,

If it is from a breeder it is not wild caught is it so not likely to have parasites, but if a breeder got them from Bristol then they are not from a breeder but a dealer WC torts are not very tame especially leopards. there is a breeder that i went to see, where i got my leopard, from.
he had 4 4yr old leopards, but my hermann was from bristol, bought to devon where i got him from a pet shop. sorry to confuse you. thanks i just worry, as dont no much bout import wild or captive bread etc. so i take it my hermann was wild court import. how do i no for definate if my leopard wasnt. thanks |

That tortoise is WAYYYYYY too small to be 4 years old. Mine leopard tortoise is the size of my palm and is around 9 months old.
Its illegal.. HIGHLY illegal to buy or sell a turtle or tortoise that small. (I believe its less than 4 inches) Anyways, mine alot bigger than that but is still too small to tell the sex. |
