Its illegal.. HIGHLY illegal to buy or sell a turtle or tortoise that small. (I believe its less than 4 inches)
Anyways, mine alot bigger than that but is still too small to tell the sex.

Where do you get the " illegal.. HIGHLY illegal to buy or sell a turtle or tortoise that small " ??? Are you in the UK ?

As far as I know you could (if you so wished/papers in order if needed) sell a hatchling on the day it was hatched - there is no set time period or size required. Obviously most breeders would not sell at such a young age though.

She also never mentioned that her tort is 4... Her OTHER one is 4, and the guy she got it from has 4 year olds, but hers is a 2008 baby.

Modlovecat is obviously referring to the 4" Rule that only applies in the USA.

this is more for reference than anything else... That tortoise can easily be 4 years old.

My question is... why was this post revived? The OP is long gone... or so I suspect.
