Hey guys,
Very shortly i will be getting a hermans tortoise. I am confident with most things but just wanted to check a few things regarding diet. where i live there isn't many weeds and garden doesn't have that many flowers or space to grow flowers for her. i was hoping to use greens from local shop/market along with the recommended supplements. What can i buy that is readily available with the correct calcium/protein ratios, that my tort will readily eat and will promote good shell growth?

hate to say it but store bought produce really is only suitable for short term use as the vitamin levels are very low.

the best thing to do, is grow weeds in planters. you can put some on your windowsill, or in tubs in the garden.
