Yes VET ASAP ! and look at the claws on that! wow.

How long have you had them with no uv? and do you also have heat bulb for them?

Do you treat the water with declorinator and what do you feed them?

Oh and 1 more what is the set up ? tank size etc?

my tank is 3' wide 2' tall and 2' deep its about 1' deep in water with a basking light in his basking area thay are about 18 months old and have never had a uv light as i was advised they just need a basking light as for the claws i have done loads of searches on this and they should never be cut its normal for ybs to have claws like this so i am informed

i do treat the water with a water treatment to cut down on smells ect

i have been told to increase the water temp and add sea salt as this help fight the infection i have just bough 2 uv lights one uva and one uvb i am phoning a list of vets on saturday to get them booked in for the once over and treatment that is needed asap

I would E-mail/ PM graham about this, he knows tons about turtles ect.

However, given the terrible state of the animals, seek a reptile vet ASAP

Yes you definitely need a herp specialist vet asap, I doubt whether an ordinary vet would really know what to do and this is very serious.

The Map has pretty bad shell rot, and I wouldn't be surprised if the other two have septacemia. This has almost certainly been caused by a prolonged lack of UVB, probably poor water quality, poor diet maybe, low temperatures.

Far from being healthy these are some very sick turts, almost the worst I've seen and you need to do something very quickly.

Keeping the different species together isn't a problem, these three are quite compatible and have very similar habitat and dietary requirements.

What size are these turts, and what size tank and filter do you have?

I agree to contact Graham and follow his advice to the letter. Short cuts with chelonian husbandry always end up with mega problems.

OMG they look in aweful condition. I know little about torts but even i can see there in a bad way.

Glad to hear your getting them to a vet however make sure its a specilist in chelonia rather then just a normal vet.

Hi not sure if you are a memeber of shelledwarriors but if not join up and ask Egyptiandan on there about them he is somewhat of a Turtle expert he will help you ten fold.

If you like you can send me the pictures and i will add them see what he thinks .

Obviously a vet will be far the best to assist but even agood reptie vets have little knowlege on aquatics most of the time
