Pennine Vets in Bolton or Bury centre are brilliant... we use them. Did you get the turts to a vets as ive not read the whole post?

i'm sure someone will be along shortly though with actual experience with a vet reasonably local to you
I'll be on romaines TV show soon, excellent vet. nthing wrong with mixing these species. and TBH i dont think it loooks like shell rot either.

great news all my turts are fine no shell rot the problem they have is as egyptiandan64 said they are not basking enough and drying oue the shells i am now building a huge area for them to bask just getting my diy tools out now lol

Well that's good news, I'm surprised to hear there's no shell rot at all though, I thought the Map looked like it had some for sure.

So now you know all the things you were doing wrong hopefully you can get it all sorted, a really good setup isn't cheap but it's well worth it, it makes keeping them so much easier and a real pleasure.
