Be cautious of using a multivitamin suppliment such as Nutrobal daily, some of the vitamins involved can do more harm than good in excess. Vitamin A particularly can do serious liver damage.

Hypercalcaemia can cause many similar symptoms and as much damage as not enough calcium.
It's all about reaching a careful healthy balance.

Thanks for that. I was just going by what I was told. I dust my weeds with a make-up brush. Lol.

No probs matey

Working out a dosing regime that works for your tort really comes down to the quality and variety of the whole diet.
If you're lucky enough to be able to provide a variety of say ~80 different greens and some veg throughout the year, you may only want to use nutrobal or otherwise once fortnightly and allow the torts to suppliment their own diet with cuttle the rest of the time.
Clearly if you simply cannot get hold of anything like that amount of variety then your tort will be missing out on some vits more than others. In which case I'd still only personally use Nutrobal twice weekly.

It's a minefield I know!

P.S: I seem to have sidestepped the main topic sorry! lol.
Andy, he may just be nice and relaxed in his new home now and not feel the need to pace and explore. But to be sure, how are his reactions, if you approach to touch his front legs or head, does he leave them hanging out or retreat as normal? Is he eating as normal?

Very hard to determine how much to give then isnt it?

I use a vareity of weeds, about 20. I am aware of vitamin overdose's so I am very tight with the amount I put on. But you have me worried now
