hi i have posted a thread but i never got the awnser i was looking for as it kept being hijacked,
please if you have time check out the link below to my photo album and take a look at my new torts.they are in a old table in one pic my brothers holding my horsfield near were the others are they have not been in contact with eachother not been in the same side if the table it is devided in to two parts and we use alcohol gel to kill any germs away before handling the other species of tort, i need to id them as i dont have papers with them and if i do i will have to applie im guessing, there is 2 females and one horney male allways at it. as you will see from their shells they have a bumpy shell not all smooth,im guessing this is part of how its ment to be as one in perticular has hight raised bumps than the other, and is darker coloured some one mentioned marginated torts? i aint ever herd of them? please advise im clue less tropicaltink81 - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting Last edited by Andy n Claire; 19-02-2008 at 10:28 PM. The tortoise boffins will need plastron images (under shell) of each tortoise for a conclusive diagnosis. do the have 'spurs' on their back legs? - if so Grk Spr Thighed. Doe they have a 'pointed' tail? If so Hermans.

'Spurs' = destinctive warty type growths on the inside of their back legs towards the shell.
You should get photo's of their under shells - alot can be told about their species by how the scutes are arranged. |
