Thank you very much for your guide, okay.. So I have a heat lamp, I have everything like hides and bedding and food and water, I need a UV lamp and a tort run, my mums boyfriend will make me a run tomorrow while im at work, and we can get a UV light sometime later in the week or next week, Will the tort be okay with sunlight from my window until we can get the 10.0 UV light?
Im sorry if It comes across as me being stupid, I just got this amazing little tort and i'll do as much research as I can to keep him!

Glass filters out uv, but he will be fine until later this week. Order one from Livefood UK Crickets Locusts Mealworms Reptile supplies mail order you need a starter too.

Okay, thank you all very much, right so let me get this all sorted, Tonight he's in the glass tank with some lettace and lots of bedding hides and a waterbowl small enough for him to drink in, tomorrow he will be moved into the run my mums boyfriend will make, I shall put the run in my room and have a lamp holder holding the lamp above the run, I will only cover a small area of the run so if he gets too warm he can leave that area and too cool he can go to the area, ill get more food, different leaves ect... And I'll get mum to order me the UV lamp and the UV lamp holder
 =) I believe the little guy will soon settle in, I already have snakes and my reptiles mean a lot too me so I'll try my best to sort the little guy out Is all that about right?

Tortoise Table
Weed diet. UVB Tube Basking Lamp. Sand/soil bedding. Do that and you won't be going far wrong. The caresheet tells you everything TBH.
