I read this morning that some people use cuttlefish, and although the torts normally ignore it they do nibble at it when they need extra calcium, I am going to get some pure calcium but should i add cuttlefish too because i have loads spare..

The tortoise looks like the average 6 month old from what I can see online.. Im putting him into a 1ft by 3ft run so he has plenty of space to move around, my mum has been out to the reptile shop an hour away from where we live today and shes bought EVERYTHING the little guy needs, shes orderd a UV lamp and it should arrive next week, shes also bought me a brand new sunglo heat lamp and two new lamp holders, shes got me bedding, food, calcium, and shes outside making the run now with her bf, so all is good, thanks for everyones help
