I think the 'daylight' bulb must refer to the blue bulb... these would normally be used for night time though as the colour doesn't disturb as much.
What you need is a basking bulb (60w - 100w bulb) and a uvb light or a combined basking/uvb bulb. You don't actually need a blue bulb.
You can see the uvb in the pic of my table below (I used an Ikea bed box). The basking light comes from a desk lamp, which I can lower and higher to get the correct temp, which is sat on the table next to the box.
