Hi

Sorry for the late post, olive oil works well or even artifical tears that you can buy over the counter at chemists, vets recommend these as well.

Thanks, I checked it out elsewhere as well... apparently the olive oil is good for getting any grit from around the eye whereas water will just move it around. That's a really useful piece of information that I hadn't heard before... thank you.
