Default eye!

Hello everyone, I have noticed when my tortoise first wakes up he has some sleep like discharge from his eye, the little guy is still settling in and seems healthy, Im just wondering if this is normal? Also one of his eyes sometimes opens slower then the other one, I have read about someone on here having the same problem, please get back to me guys =) sorry for all the questions.

Try bathing the eye in look warm boiled water and if that dosent work try using a drop of olive oil for a couple days. If your using sand/soil mix sometimes if it's too dry it can irritate the eye.

Hope this helps.

Don't mean to sound nasty but... Everyone has looked at the pic and told you it's fine and told you what to do, you aren't going to get many more different answers than that. If you are that worried take him to a reptile vet as i did - plus, earlier you said there was no discharge, now there is?

Just chill out dude!

well
theres
no visible discharge running all over the spot, just a little sleep like stuff,
Im
sorry for asking if it annoyed you.. But Id rather ask then just leave it, so leave me to the people that want to help and stop contributing to the childishness this forum sometimes see, such as
arrogance
and
arguments

How would you guys suggest bathing the eye? with a cotton budd? or just in the bath?
.

I'm really sorry if you thought i sounded annoyed, i'm not (and hate) causing and being part of conflicts (hence why you never see me in arguments!)

Just wondered why you were asking again in another thread.

Sorry

Sorry
the forum has calmed down a bit now, so conflicts are rare, I wonder why !!
