Default Food Hunting!

Hello everyone, Frank is looking much better since I got him, he's active and not sleeping all the time, he looks more hydrated and he's eating quite a lot! I have planted water cress in his enclosure and he's eaten some of that! Also he's ate some of his cuttlefish and he loves dandelion leaves and lettuce.. Would you guys be able to post pictures of different weeds they can eat? Names of leaves mean nothing too me and I want to go for a walk to collect some more food

Really glad to hear he's doing so well and settling in with you

This site has a good list, with pictures, of edible weeds and plants:

Tortoises

If you google you'll come up with some more too
There's also a very good sticky at the top of the page.

Welcome to my Homepage and Wild Flower Shop - wild flowers, wildflowers, wild flower, native plants, wild flower seeds, grow wild, wildflower seeds, native flowers, native plant, wild flower seed, native garden, wildflower seed mix, wild bulbs, wildflowershop, native seed, mea both are excellent value. The tlady site especially is very cheap for excellent weed seeds and you can down load the Guide as well...I like it as it is grass free.

On the wild flowers...some I already have and someone on another site has helped me identify some which will be good to when I have a list I am SURE of I will post it.
