Default Cannot figure these out

Sorry to have to ask about more weeds. I looked for these but i am not 100% sure if they are what i think they are. Please could you give me your opinion. The first one i thought was a type of plantain and the other a type of mallow.Don't wanna feed to him til i know for sure.Thankyou for your time and patience

this has little tiny bristles on it




this has a slightly hairy stem

I'm sorry I can't help identify them either but there is a great site on Yahoo called TortoiseNutrition who may be able to identify them for you:

is the top leaf shiny as a good guideline is if its shiny its toxic for torts.

I would say all toxic
On shelled warriors we have a weed section, Darren and Chris are very good at Iding weeds Shelled Warriors :: View Forum - Edible Weeds/Plants etc

Hi...I have recently had a session to ID weeds and wildflowers that are suitable for my tortoises.
If I can say this...it isnt a plug for anyone....if I cant slap me down.
There is a yahoo group called tortoise friends and one called tortsmad...a man on those is very good at this and very patient.
He ID,d about 20= wildflowers for me last week.
