I think, getting back to the title of the thread, that the shelled section is going through a period of evolution. Probably accounts for it seemingly feeling different. I also, feel its time someone mentioned that there has been a lot going on behind the scenes - the people that have felt threatened by this evolution have threaten legal action on various parties. I hope that I am not speaking out of turn. But I feel very strongly about the past bullying tactics by some members (that now dont seem to post too often) and their reactions to when things got tough for them. Maybe I should have threatened legal action when myself and Coast to Coast was publically slated for having the bravery of giving alternative advice? I dont know, to be honest, but yes things are different here, quieter? - I dont think so, just that some of the more vocal posters seem to be reluctant to post nowadays. Long live the new more tolerant shelled section!

Mods, if you want this removing, dont worry - its not a problem - sorry for any embarracement - just me speaking from the heart again!

If threats of legal action have been made by certain parties / organisations my view is that it's a totally inappropriate use of funds. When I give money to an organisation that promotes a specific cause I expect it to be put towards the purposes of the organisation whatever that might be and not to pursue unnecessary (and highly expensive) litigation in order to preserve fragile egos or shut people up who have different views. Not impressed
