I find the tortoise section an interesting read, but very often I have little to contribute that I could actually contribute without sparking an argument, and I've had enough insults and abuse in this section to make me keep pretty quiet for the rest of eternity!

Therefore I read almost all the posts, and find some very interesting and informative, but I am very rarely going to reply. Some of the debates lately have been excellent with good information and ideas coming from both sides, very nice to see, and I hope that the information flow continues like that

I suppose that's my point really... the debates just lately have been great and I know there must be so many more people with their own information to add so it's a shame they don't.

I read the forum everyday, and not just the shelled section. As im rather new to all of this im taking in what I can and doing a lot of searching, and so far I have found most of my answers. I will start to post when I feel I have something to input or have a question I can't find an answer for.

You all seem like a friendly bunch so I will be sticking arround.

At the moment I have 2 hermanns.
I am currently double checking the temps in the table I have built for them. They should be going in there tomorrow afternoon once im happy. At the moment they are in a viv with the doors off.

I have only had them about 3 to 4 weeks and made them the table as soon as I could.

I will post pics of my handy work once they are settled in.

One other thing, I am growing weed seeds in seed trays by my kitchen window, and they have shot up. I assume i will have to re pot them soon so they can grow on, only problem is, im in a flat with no garden, so will they be ok in normal flower pots??
