Mine has a large shallow bowl of water so he can sit in it and also drink from it which i have to change at least twice a day as he walks soil and sand into it, but i also give him a bath daily in luke warm water for about 15-20mins to help keep him hydrated.

very slowly i think they are considered adult until they are 10 years old. i could be wrong but im sure someone will c ome along to correct me shortly if i am

Can any 1 tell me anything about carlisle tortoises?? iv looked for a breeder in leicester bt have had no luck, dus any1 know of any??, iv heard of sum1 in kings lyn selling tortoises n im willin to travel (within reason) for ma perfect pet,

for the first month or so he will be in a indoor rabbit cage witch is 3ft by 2 ft, just until its safe to have an open top cus atm we av a 3 yr old runnin round n i dnt want him upsettin ma tortoise,
