Default horsfield size question and confusion

hi all as some of you know i hot a horsfield just after xmas and was told he was 4 years old roughley,he has been having problems feeding so i took him to my local reptile shop as they have their own vet and dont charge a arm and a leg, ne way took him in and the guy said he is about 2 years old not 4, said to keep trying him with food if not take him back they will tube feed him,

when we come out of the shop i rang up the people who are selling the horsfields as 4 years and enquired about their age and set up the coe with as if i wanted to buy one.

the woman said they are 2 years old, when i got mine they said 4, and she said they are in a tort table ,they aint they are in a tiny draw.
she also said they dont need uv or uvb as they are 2 young ,she said you can get roud it using a nutrobal suppliment,

she said she had a 3 year old horsfield and dont use uv i said thanks for that i would ring back if intrested.NOT AT ALL IS NE OF THIS TRUE
