Those are herpers minimums... bigger is always better. On an indoor enclosure... it cannot be 'too big'. Outdoor enclosures... another matter... you can go 'too big'... except in the UK where the average yard is 5 x 10 m.

One I visited exceeded that range... average... mind you.

You have bigger?... quite lucky... affluent... of you.

Some have less than that.

I quite like the look of spur thigheds aswell. Are these the same size and requirements as Hermanns/Horsefields?

med spur thighed or african?

Med ones grow to about 8" some in some cases bigger, africans get HUGE. (up to 36 inches)
