Default Rep shops in Berks

I'm currently staying just outside Newbury in Berkshire and I was wondering if there are any reptile shops nearby?

Thanks,

Cat x

Hi Cat,

As far as I know the only close rep shop is in Hare Hatch between Reading and Maidenhead.

It's in a garden centre by the name of Ladds, their website is: Aquasplash Reptiles Ltd - Reptile and Aquatic Specialists

If there is another one out there I would be very interested to know my self.

Regards

yeah my personal opinion is aquasplash is good , not a great amount. there is also one on the outskirts of bracknell , towards maidenhead in a garden centre, advertised as a fish shop but more reps than fish.

pet emporium is rubbish personally. VERY old school shop and not much about. still sell cats in cages!

best by far in that area is badshot lea garden centre, cleanest vivs, nicely set out, loads of stock and good prices (apart from some reps) beginners shop

Lol, but you arent biased

I personally think that all of the livestock at Badshot Lea is ridiculously expensive, but all the rest of the sundries are ok. I have bought all of my UV starters and bulb holders there.

Aquasplash is my favourite in the area, although to be honest I buy very few reptiles from the area; I usually end up driving far further afield to get what I want.

I found a super little place today for supplies - no livestock but everything else. The upstairs of Pets Corner in Thatcham has a reptile section including livefood. The people in there were brilliant - really helpful even offering to place orders for me. The prices were very good too. They don't seem to know too much about reps but they were very upfront about this and REALLY keen to learn.

There was a shop called Jurassic Pets in Wokingham but unfortunately it has closed down.

Dont know where about it is but i sometimes go to a garden centre called Squires garden centre and theres a massive fish place and a small reptile bit.

Jurassic Pets is such a shame...they used to be amazing when they were in Wyevale. The move to the craft village really finished them off. Damn PETA.

The Squires one is Badshot Lea

Another Camberley guy! We're well on our way to taking over the world!
