these things are quite difficult to keep arent they, in fairness, most i have seen have been wc, so that may have something to do with it.

Many of the old traditionally "difficult" species particularly asian rats, are fine and relatively easy if you get CB.

I remember when (god I sound like my Grandad) leopard snakes (Zamenis situla) were considered difficult to even keep alive; now they are bred without problem - but still a bit thin on the ground in captivity. I had 3 generations of them at one stage when I lived in UK.
