Have a little bump for this great guide :o)

Just made my hide out of a margarine tub, my only question is, is the hole made going to be ok? Its a bit sharp due to the thin plastic of the lid.

Great guide, although i would also like to raise the point below which is easily solved by sanding it down using sand paper or similar

Great caresheet my daughters Sinaloan Milksnake hadnt shed right( my fault for humidity which has been sorted) and did the bath in warm water as stated andnow its fully shed. thanx

i recently put a bag of moist bark chips in with my CRB and its had a very clean shed =)

But be careful you don't burn the house down.
I actually payed for a professional moist box, thats also a hide with a ladder. Best £5 i spent really, looks like a tree stump and hardy with no sharp bits. Also doubles up as a laying box. It tends to do the rounds of all my animals, sterilized of course.

How often do snakes shed? (Sorry... im sure you can all tell I don't keep snakes, I was just wondering as I am browing the snake forums)
