Hi

Yes TNT can be bad enough, but at least when sent legally on a live animal account, they know an animal is in there.

If thats how they treat what they know is a live animal package, you can just imagine and cringe at how a courier would treat a package that was sent illegally with them having no idea what is actually in the package.

It scares me how many people are taking the risk these days, and how many are doing it bacause they don't actually know that the sender is sending it that way, many newbies just assume when a seller says that they can courier that it is being done proparly for the animal and legally with a live animal account and courier.....sadly not always the case.

Yes TNT are not the most careful. Marie actually did speak up to the driver one day and said "be careful its live animals in there"... he replied... "oh it doesn't say on the box"... to which marie turned the box onto the correct side and said "well, if you had it the right way you'd see that it does... they better be ok". thankfully the snakeys were ok though.

Woop Woop!! will be counting down and awaiting the good news.....

Seems like Ive been waiting forever.......but patience is a virture....
Never used TNT.....Yet!! Always managed to get round it by being patient and waiting etc.. for collection or personal delivery. But no doubt will use it one day when there is no other option, and I will be sweating and biting my nails until a safe arrival.....

As far as Im aware the ONLY UK courier licienced to legally carry live animals is TNT.

nope in fact there are several other than TNT ( with much better service and animal care) , biggest problem is long distance. some couriers can only do scotland as their insurance doesn't cover handing over to a 3rd party courier once in england or wales.

Im finding out about couriers at the moment and couldn't get much info, here is the thread thier on:

Courier Questions

Any ifo would be much appreciated. I didn't know about the over the boarder thing either, about the different insurance for Scotland - England, so cheers for that, I can look into that aswell

The TNT driver who has delivered to me fairly regularly was great he always waited until I had unpacked the snake and checked it but he has unfortunately left recently. Before he finished he brought the new driver round with him and told him all about my snakes so hopefully this one will be careful too.
