Hi there,
I think most places that do courier are not willing to courier to the highlands and Islands. This is because of the extra transport time and therefore the greater risk to the animal.

There is only one parcel courier that accepts reptiles and I believe they are UK mainland only.
I suspect you're going to have to go the extra cost to get onto the mainland to pick it up from somewhere, or pay a very high cost for personal delivery. |

oh :S
Well, do Exotic Pets - Amphibian, Reptile and Invert UK exotic pet shop deiver all over the country? But Ive heard they have a pretty bad reputation. Well, I guess I could go to the mainland. Next time Im going down should be in May or June though Anyone know any reptile petshops in or around Aberdeen? because thats where the boat goes, so it would be easiest to got there. Then again, I guess I could go down south sooner. |

It's not the company, it's the courier. There is only one courier in the UK that legally accepts live reptiles, and that's TNT.
It has to be next day guaranteed delivery... because of the location and the time to get to the Islands TNT cannot guarantee next delivery, therefore people cannot send live animals. TNT UK - 12:00 Express - TNT Scotland & Scottish Isles 12:00 Express delivery service available to all postcodes excluding the Scottish Isles and the following areas: AB23, AB30-99, IV, KW1-14, PA21-40, PH19-40, PH41 Sector 4 and PH49-50 Isle Of Man 12:00 Express delivery service not available Channel Islands and Isles of Scilly 12:00 Express delivery service not available |
