I have bought snakes that were a couple of days old, if you have all the info, like the bloke has provided then you can't really slate him.

As far as I know he has not misled anyone, sayin two feeds in 8 days from birth is fine.

some breeders will do it so they dont have any hassle, i have bought litters that havent even fed yet, saves the breeder time getting them to feed etc

What some people don't realise is that snakes are not puppy's or kittens or any other cute furry mamal.. They are Reptiles & being reptiles are not suckled by thier mothers.. they are born to survive on thier own from day one..

Some people also realise that reptiles are not mammals and don't require the nurturing of thier mother yet still find it hard to digest that the offspring are not formally established within the breeders home.

I am not saying in any way that you are wrong for letting them go so early - that is your business and provided you know they are going to an experienced home then all is good and well

who said I was fine about letting them go so early.. I told the guy when he contacted me by phone that i would feel happier keeping hold of them for a few more weeks.. but he said he wanted them right away & understood how young they where & the implications..

Anyway I am not here to offend anyone so I think its just best if i keep hold of them for another six weeks & then sell them on & hey if i end up sellin all ten for say £45 each then £450.00 will certainly apy for something else..

From the first clutch of 10 babes I had one escapee the other 9 are doing great all eating & all have shed twice..

Trying the new clutch of 8 on pinkies today..
