Please do not think about putting two males in the same viv!!

It only spells out trouble...yes, some people do keep more than one male together and they may be fine for years...but in my opinion it is irresponsible and not worth the risk.

Older or larger, overzeleous males can and will rape smaller males...stress each other out, there is a high risk they will fight (sometimes to the death) and aside from this...there are all the usual reasons not to keep two or more snakes together. Please view the following link before you make any decision! :

I meant to add...should you choose to go ahead and keep two snakes together...remember you will need a viv big enough to house two adequately...you will need two more hide boxes (again, one at each end of the viv) for the new snake...etc etc.

Bear in mind it is wise to quarantine any new snakes to rule out disease, infection, parasites (both internal and external) and such like before introducing to existing stock - so you will need another viv anyway.

People tend to forget, quarantine isn't just about protecting existing stock from possible illness in new stock; but also incase existing stock is ill (but not yet showing symptoms) and may infect new stock.

cheers
