Having had a bit of a think, we have decided not to breed these two snakes in the future and would like them to go to a home where they will have more attention and where they could possibly be bred from.
We have an 06 female and an 07 male for sale, they were both slow starters, and therefore are small for their age. I am not going to tell lies about them, as they are notorious for being picky feeders.
The female is chipped, and has relevant paperwork....she feeds on rats, and prefers them to be left in with her for a day or so....and she won't eat every week. She sheds fine if you give her a moist hide, and if not she will have problems shedding. She is fine to handle, and very pretty. She has no health issues apart from being a bit small, but she will get there in time.
The male is due to be chipped soon as he is coming up to a year old now, and last weigh in was just under 200g. He is a very aggressive feeder, and will require a bit of patience to get him to eat, though he eats almost every week. He is an awful aim though!! If you want to see this for yourself before you buy, then you are more than welcome. He has all his paperwork too. He also needs a moist hide to shed well.
These animals are unrelated, and both are fine to handle and are really lovely snakes.
PM me for more details and a price. I will vet any prospective owners as these need an experienced hand.
Im Sorry to hear this Anna, But atleast your not lieing about there notorious feeding habits (well Lack of!). Best of luck with these, I would take them if I had the funds. The Ratsnakes are coming on nicely, the female is constantly shedding which is good, as she could do with the catching up!
