you may want to consider a definate CB snake expecially for a first time snake..

CF are cheaper for a reason.. and at times can have a magnitude of issues Cb dont..

i would just recomment going to good retailer such as reptiles plus for captive hatched or captive breds, there mint condition. you shouldn't get any problems. (reptiles plus are distributers too, so if you phone them they may supply to a local retailer near you.)

if you buy captive hatched (farmed) else where they may well have problems.

I disagree. My CF royals are all better feeders than my CB ones.

CF arent bad mate, theres no difference IMO, PROVIDING THEY HAVE HAD THE PROPER CARE AND ATTENTION TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE AS GOOD AS A CB ANIMAL, this is where it all goes pete-tong, coz some people dont bother.

That will be your no1 problem......being sure that they feed well and are healthy, but once your sure there really is nothing wrong with them.

I have some but think your probably to far.

I bought a cf Royal in May ,had never been fed ,assist fed her 3 times ,then she started to strike feed has never refused a feed and now she is on med mice , puppy dog tame and loves being out and handled ,brilliant snake , first Royal I have had ,never had any experience with assist feeding ,but with a bit of patience worked out great , recommend cf to anyone .
Bought mine from the Rainforest in Rhyl N.Wales ,plenty of back up from them,just a phone call away .
