Well i was asking what sort of range to avoid A) insulting you with a poor offer (in you opinion) or B) offering a ridiculas amount over the odds.

These snakes can be obtained from either shows, or direct from Henry Batten, bob clark line. They are around the £450 mark, but i am assuming that you paid ALOT more than that.

Simlarly there are uk sellers asking up and around 1500...

darkdan, i hope ive not offended you, as you can see, ive had him up for £800, yes you can pick up babies for pennies, it depends whether you are after a pet or something that will breed any moment, ive done the leg work for that. As i have said, an offer wouldnt offend me, i could say yes or no, theres only one way to find out, im looking to clear him out to make space and cash for other projects and he needs to go, cheers all

One of the problems I find is that the average people seem to be skint at the moment (specially comparing to 5 - 10 years ago).

Secondly, I think more and more people are taking in consideration the amount of time, space and money that keeping large snakes such as retics, condas and burmeses can take.

Of course there will always be a market for everything priced correctly, but one might have to be more patient than if you were selling a common boa or a corn.

I have fascination for large snakes, but have no space, so I had to set a limit in boas.
