Tampering with the venom glands or ducts of DWA animals is illegal in the UK (illegal to perform in the UK, although not illegal to own an animal that was worked on in a different country), and as far as I'm aware, any modifications are ignored when it comes to DWA. It's a touchy subject and heavy debate at the best of times as to the permanency of changes, and certainly not enough to risk the health and safety of the general public for.

il have to look into it and ask, but theres a few comments on venomdoc, one in particular saying a snake is not allowed to be certified venomoid unless the procedure is 100% irreversible, which means that the glands would have to be removed.

The snake CAN grow back ducts when removed. This species in particular has had papers written on it. I will find and cite them later.

This snake is to be concidered venomous since it still has the glands.

I am still interested. IF you have them could you please PM me some pictures (or post or email)

Although this snake is to be concidered as HOT and DaNGEROUS since it may be able to inflict a venomous bite, through one or both fangs, and HOT snakes with no tampering can givedry milkings, this is not a reliable test.

As for the DWA it covers species, not individuals. If a tiger has its teeth and claws removed it is still licensed, as is the snake. And as was rightly said it can still breed and produce dangerous offspring.
