makassar are one of the most bad tempered locals most never tame even if cb
you will not find cb in the uk! only wc (most of which are not makassar)

makassar have very distinct markings and colour!

i have just been offered a pair that are reasonable to handle but on seeing the pics they look like two different locals and only one looks a maybe!!!

makasaars are (sulawesis) some believe makassar is the new name some believe the old name, believe makasaar is the shipping port,
a lot of dodginess about this locale along with the selayer/butons locale retics, the markings are very distint like the guys mention above( most have doughnut shaped marking to backs) also colour is different,(browns and blacks) some say they have golden heads (mine dosent) but you wont get them mixed up with any javan, bali, jampea.kayaudai, ambon,
there apparently meant to have exhailerated growth rate, a few people in america reakon 15 ft 1st year, erm leave you to decide on that one
but they are similar to selayer and buton,
again as mentioned above they are the most untrustworthy of all the retic locales, ive had my female since september, she was vicious to begin with but shes dog tame now, she was wild caught,
reakon the first cbs will show up 2009-2010
go on new england reptile distrabution, (nerd) and theres pics on there of them, stew

this is a makasaar retic i had a while back. was sold to me as that anyway, was also sold as semi tame too so the locale might have been a lie too as the temperament was as bad as i've seen
