The only reason i am thinking of selling/trading is she is not big enough to breed at the end of this season and i need a larger female.

would it not need to go to a sunset cross to get a sunset?

I thaught the sunset was a 50% hogg which is also a super salmon hypo?

if it went to a salmon hypo male then it would only be 25% hogg?

No it would not need to go to a cross, the % of sunsets would be greater if put to another DH sunset yes, but if put to a salmon hypo you will still get sunsets, just not as high %.
A sunset is a super hypo hogg, not salmon.

Salmons are hypos yes, but you can get different types of hypos.
Have a look at salmon and then look at salmon hypos, there is a difference.

there are two hypo boas one being the salmon boa and one being the gee line hypo(orange tail) both are compatible with each other and are said to be the same thing anyway

Hypomelanistic boas lack varying degrees of melanin, thus their name (i.e "hypo"- below + "melanin"- black pigment).

some people just choose to say its a hypo salmon or its a salmon but they are exactly the same thing its just the fact that some salmons may be alot cleaner with less black where as some might be alot darker but they are both salmons or hypo salmons its just what people choose to call them thats all
