What is the difference between the motley and a cubed or striped? I mean visually to be able to say yes or no
It's difficult to explain, but very easy to tell the difference. Striped motleys (which this snake is) is genetically a motley corn. Although the circled saddles have joined along the dorsal to create a stripe. They also have a different side pattern to stripes.

There is also a colour different in the dorsal stripe of striped motley corns, it takes on the colour of the saddles and not the background colouration.

Striped corns have 4 stripes altogehter, two on the dorsal and 2 on their sides. There is no colour difference between the stripes, it's all background colour and the stripes will be well defined along the whole body even if they start to fade or are broken. The cubed look comes from the stripe gene apparently. It's when the stripes connect in a sort of diamond shape on the dorsal. However there are also cubed motleys where they motley circles take on a stout square shape.

I really don't have any background info on the selective breeding of cubed corns. Cubed is not a recessive gene in it's self.

Are you sure thats not a cubed motley? It starts to get confusing when motley and stripe are mixed together. What were the parents?
