is this look typical of the wamena's. i've seen a few available in recent times. pretty cheap for GTP's too!

No, I think this is purely a transitional phase. I don't think she'll stay this way. Usually Wamena/Karubauga/Bokondini type locales are bright green with a blue dorsal stripe and white triangles edged in blue. Occasionally they may have blue spotting on the flanks.
How much have you seen them for?
