I don't know why, but I never feel I can catch Charbray's colours properly on camera. She just has so many delicate shades to her that nothing seems to do justice.
I think it might be her eyes. Normally when you capture an eye on a corn, you've got a nice, round pupil - but she has really odd eyes, and the iris seems to just grow like a crystal formation around the pupil with no real order to it. She just shed tonight and was looking especially pretty so I figured I'd drag her out for some pictures ... hope you like. ![]() ![]()

She is certainly something special - I have a feeling she's going to be one of the really high pink, high contrast cinders when she's grown up.My male cinder Damascus is a really different colour altogether - different saddle colour, different background colour, different eye colour! This is a really variable morph, it's going to be a lot of fun learning about it and how it combines.
