pastel boas are in the eye of the beholder, proven pastels are simply groovy looking boas that have been mated and shown to be carrying genes for their pastel colours, possible pastels like the one above have the colouration but are yet to be proven out as genetic pastels, though i have done this before by line breeding so know how to spot potential,as for het pastels i cant say as the genetics often dont prove out as simple recessives or co-dominants so whether you can have hets i couldnt say at this point

from what i have read and been told a pastel is a selectively bred trait rather than a morphs as such. you will get a pastel and breed it to a non pastel and the offspring will look a bit pastel if you get me but if you bred those then it would water the pastel down even more. If you breed pastel to pastel you get nicer looking pastels. You wont get het for pastels as they are either pastel looking or not. This is what i think but i may be wrong.

By the way nice looking boa either way!
