silly backwards eating royal
I feeding some of my royals and when i went back to check fi the ones that had striked were eating, one was eating the rat backwards, which for some reason this one often does, not matter how much I offer the head first! first I'd grab a pic

My baby kingsnake has a bad habit of doing this too, the greedy guts doesn't care how it goes down just as long as he's getting food.

lol, all my young royals are bottomless pits and would eat forever if i let them
 my older ones get a bit more fussy, but i guess as they arent growing and have larger reserves they can go longer.Nah I dont always feed on chips, I know you're not meant to due to impactions, but i find if i get some of my royals out of their enclosure for feeding in a seperate box, they're so interested in the box and being handled they completely ignore the food! I'm very careful to use dry rodents though that substrate doesnt stick to, and monitor them whilst they eat.

maybe a good idea to be fair my new baby 08 royal isnt eating so maybe its worth a try! it was how she was fed before i just scared to death of the chips from reading up when i brought my corns!

mine too
I have the same trouble with my Royal, every time i offer it face first but he just turns it around and eats it the other way. no need to worry though =]
