My little Keelback was rubbing his nose against the glass of his viv as if he was trying to shed so I gave him a warm soak which he really seemed to enjoy, we had a cuddle , took some pics and he musked me twice as usual. He seemed ok so I put him back in his viv but went back and checked on him a couple of times the second time he hadn't moved so I picked him up and he felt cold. I held him cupped in my hands to warm him and he opened his mouth very wide, closed it and died in my hand.

I have no idea how old he was except he was a proven breeder before I got him but I never found any females for him.

I'm going to miss the little guy, he was quite a character. Here are some of the last pics of him taken tonight.

Sorry to hear that - it's horrible when a pet dies in your hand. it happen'd to me once with a new born guinea pig and it's the worst feeling.
