Default Bert - JJ Carpet

Had to work away for a couple of month and had to leave Bert with my sister. I managed to persuade her to give me him back on my return, and took some photos for a friend to show how he was getting along. Though im still terrible with my camera thought it was rude not to post them

All taken without flash, but the yellow still washes out a bit:

Thought Id point out that he was living in a faunarium inside a larger viv, took photos of him in the viv whilst cleaning the faun out. Hence the bareness in th photos.

Finally:

Hope people enjoy !

Jonny.

Thanks,

Got him at 3 months and he was insane. It felt as if it was a waste of time trying to get him used to being handled. At about 6 months he started to settle and now at 10 months he S's up quite a bit but very rarely carries out his threats He has real potential to become very tame.

I also think it's worth pointing out in my opinion, most carpets are not aggressive, just initially very defensive as I recon they scare easily. This is especially true for Bert and even if I didn't handle him, would calm down with age anyway.

Cheers,

Jonny.

Ideal,

If they are a little bitey they will seem very hard work at first. When I first got Bert I couldnt walk passed the viv without him striking at the glass and I was really worried he'd hurt himself, but patience is definitely the key. Then you'll end up buying some more

Enjoy,

Jonny.
