They are yes but your right corn isles are so special in their own right, simply stunning.

I am hoping to breed in the future, pure corn isle boas are still extremely rare in captivity due to the fact only two farmed litteres were ever brought into the states in 1996 if I remember correctly. Plus the fact they have small litters and take a good few years to mature...

Afraid to say I really dont like crawl cays. Lovely wee boas but they are somewhat bland compared to the firey corn isles and hondruans etc.

Bland!? Pah! I figured they must be pretty rare, seem quite hard to track down. You say they take some time to reach maturity, how long we talking? Good luck with them, they are lovely.

LOL no offence to them or anyone, they are lovely snakes, but I just prefer the more colourful locales.

At about 4 years is the earliest I would breed corn isles, probably 5. All 3 are a year old this month, and the heaviest is just under 400 grams and the lightest is under 200 grams. Teeny tiny boas lol. But then agian I only feed my male twice a month. I like to grow on dwarf boas nice and slow.
