Default Big Mac - new pics as promised.

Big Mac has just shed and the great news is his big black scab has come off his mouth. One side still sticks out a little and I suppose it may stay like that now but he's back to full health, eating well and his shed came off in one.

First a reminder of the state he was in when he came.

New pics taken today.

fitting name, what is he? an everglades? He's looking good. I've obviously missed some previous posts about him - what was wrong with his mouth?

He's thought to be an Everglades x Texas or Yellow Rat and he came to me with a very severe dose of mouth rot which needed injections of antibiotics every 2 days for 3 weeks to shift.

I'm really pleased with him and especially chuffed that he's eating well although I'd better be careful that he doesn't get too fat.
