All of Okee's babies had hatched bar 1. I put a small hole in the shell but nothing happened so last night I made a biogger slit in it and all I could see was a pale mass inside so I presumed it wasn't alive and left it to deal with this morning. Imagine my surprise this morning when I opened the tub in the inc to dispose of the empty shells to find a face peering out at me.

This is what emerged later today giving Okee a 100% record. She laid 18 eggs last year and 17 this, all hatched and no slugs and she won't be 3 until September.
