Very nice snake.

I would love to own gtp's but the price tag is just a little too steep for me at the moment.

The reason the tail looks a little weird is that they use it in the wild as a caudal lure ie it imitates a worm so that birds would be tempted to peck at it.When this happens the snakes nabs it with its humungous teeth

Correct green phase, It's quite impressive watching Chondros use their tails as a lure.

Looks like a Biak type GTP to me, am I right?

Can I ask what you paid for it.

If It's your first GTP I could PM you some links with excellent advice.

Here's a pic of mine,

Another joins the GTP club!

Congrats!

Best of luck mate, and i shall give you my standard advice...if you haven't got Greg Maxwells "A more Complete Chondro" yet (or the 1st edition "Complete Chondro") buy/order it TODAY.

NOW.

NO EXCUSES.

Sorry for caps, but it makes the point i feel.

Also if you haven't found them already, read every post and every thread on

http://pub28.ezboard.com/bchondroforum

Again, best of luck. You will never regret getting one.
