Default irian jaya carpet python

hey all! im getting an carpet python as soon as when they all start 2 hatch lol! and i was wondering what is the size difference between a male and a female and what size vivs do they need 2 be kept in etc and also if anyone has one can they plz post pics?

You've posted in the wrong section I'm afraid.

From what I remember females can get to around 4.5 - 5.5 feet and males 4-5 feet. Just slightly smaller than jungles I think.

They are more terrestrial than jungles too so don'e necessarily need as much height. I'd say a 4 x 1.5 x 2 or something would be pretty good. Possibly not as tall.

Obviously with your hatchling you will need to house in a tub for a while then a small viv.

Just make sure you do all teh research and get the tub set up with correct temps before you actually get the snake.

Very nice snakes too. You made a good choice.

I like the normal names. Never understood why pets get called pettie names like lucky and star etc etc. You know the names I mean.

Brian was kinda derived from Monte Python life of Brian. Monte lacks originality and is a pettie name so had to give it a twist.

My mate has a dog called Dave too which always makes me laugh.
