lol not to bothered about an odd nip but im sure regular handling and keeping them happy will prevent this! i hope someone on here keeps these as pairs these and can provide some info.

The adult pair living with me were kept as a pair before we got them.

The first thing WE did when we got them was separate them - they've been living in separate housing for the last six months.

And it's a good thing, too... because the female's just surprised us with a litter of at least seven babies.

Next time I want to KNOW when the female's been bred.

Now, keeping two males or two females together... maybe.

Also: Mamake, the female, is as placid as can be - she's normally absolutely lovely and inquisitive. However, this morning she had a proper go at me... because she wasn't keen on me messing with her or the babies. That said, their mouths are relatively small for their size, and if you're careful about finding them under the substrate with something that ISN'T your hand, you can usually pick them up once they've had that first 'is it food' thrash at you.

Lovely pics of your kenyan sand boa. We bought one last night a hatchling. Gorgeous wee girl. Will post pics up when we can. Her temperment so far has been exceptionally very good. A little dream.
