more baby royal feeding pics.
I thought I 'd share these pics of Tatyana eating her second bigger feed.
I asked John to get out a rat weaner but when it was defrosted I realised it was a large mouse. I don't know how it got into the bag with the weaners!!!! Well whenshe eventually realised it had a head which took nearly 5 minutes she had no problem downing it. I upped her food size as she was taking three rat pups at a time. So much for a baby taht didn't want to eat when I got her.

  All gone.  I've just weighed her ans she is 196grms. She was only 51grms in at the end of April.

Thanks for the replies,
I currently have her in a tub about 16"x10"x7". She was in a medium faunarium but I think it was too 'transparent' and she wasn't happy. She much prefers this one. I keep her on newspaper with a small amount of moss and a water dish. I tried a 'hide' but she prefers to hide in the moss. She is still a little fiesty. She always 'looks' as if she would like to eat me but she is getting better by the day. Considering the 4' male I took from my neice was only on one large mouse every week I can't understand how he managed to get so big. I honestly thought I might lose her when she was so small and wouldn't eat!!!!! It just goes to show that when they start eating they, usually, go from strength to strength.
